‘Broken Slide’ by Boris Savelev (1982)
The pictures by Savelev, a rocket scientist turned photographer, are amazing. He’s been documenting the every day experience in the USSR and then Russia for more than 30 plus years. The Guardian profiled him in conjunction with his firs exhibition in 2009. You can visit his own site and check out much more of his work.
